The evaluation currently costs $500 (additional costs are covered by the University System of Georgia Board of Regents). Payment or proof of payment by a third party (e.g., Vocational Rehabilitation, Veterans Administration) is required at the time the referral packet is submitted. Methods of payment include: Credit card via UGA E-store by clicking here: Pay Evaluation Fee Online Credit card by completing the payment form in the referral packet Check made out to The Regents' Center for Learning Disorders or RCLD Money Order Third Party Payments (e.g., Vocational Rehabilitation, Veterans Administration). The client must supply the center with an Authorization for Services from the third party giving promise of payment and detailed payment information. Insurance. The UGA Regents Center for Learning Disorders does not file for insurance payments but will provide students with the necessary documentation so that they may file with their insurance carrier after they have made full payment. Students should be aware that many insurance plans will not reimburse them for this type of evaluation.
